To allow for the differences in power supplies and components we have developed different specifications for our standard machines that use locally sourced parts to ease maintenance and replacement of wearing components. The Mastercut 2200 flatbed cutter has been exported all over the world. To suit the local requirements BW Cutters developed customised versions of this machine. The units are identical in form, fit and function. They share exactly the same frame, vacuum system, tool head and cutting table but the internal electronics, the electric components are set to suit local power parameters which can change not just from country to country but sometimes with countries.
Our components, where not made in house, are sourced from companies that offer the best quality and value for example our laser generating units are supplied by SYNRAD with whom we have a long standing relationship. No compromises are made in the quality or life expectancy of any of these components. All components, regardless of source, meet the same rigorous ANSI and OSHA standards and all have been extensively tested by BW Cutters engineers for performance and reliability.
To allow for the international differences in power supply, the North American Mastercut 2200 model is supplied and tested by the factory set up for the standard US one- and two- phase electrical supply. The European model is adjustable between 100v / 115v / 130v / 200v / 215v / 230v AC+/-10%. In the event that an electrical component does need replacement, then a local supplier can be contacted for immediate overnight domestic shipment. This greatly reduces the cost to our clients, and it minimizes the production downtime while parts are in transit. The added benefit is that in the event that a part becomes difficult to obtain or is no longer supplied by a domestic manufacturer, then an alternative supplier will always be available. Regardless, BW Cutters will of course be able to supply parts from the stock maintained at the factory.
